The short version
Vanta is a well-established compliance automation platform with a deep catalogue of native integrations and a large auditor and partner ecosystem. It is generally sold through a sales process with annual contracts, and reported entry costs sit in the five figures per year.
ComplyEasy is built for the earlier end of that market: self-serve signup, a free plan, published prices from $49/month, and a gap analysis you can run in minutes. We do not match Vanta’s breadth of native evidence-collection integrations today — those are on our roadmap, not shipped.
Pricing model
| Dimension | ComplyEasy | Vanta |
|---|---|---|
| Published list price | Yes — Free, $49/mo, $149/mo | Not published; quote-based |
| Typical starting cost | $0, or $588/year on Starter | Reported ~$10k+/year |
| Billing terms | Month-to-month or annual | Typically annual contract |
| Free plan | Yes, no time limit | No free plan |
| Sales call required | No | Yes, in practice |
Neither platform’s price includes the audit. The independent auditor charges separately in both cases.
Setup time
With ComplyEasy you sign up, pick a framework, upload what you already have, and get a scored gap report in minutes. With Vanta, onboarding is typically scheduled with their team and integrations are connected before the first meaningful readout, which commonly puts the first full picture days out rather than minutes.
Once integrations are connected, Vanta’s continuous monitoring does more of the ongoing evidence work for you. That trade-off is real: faster to a first answer with us, more automation over time with them.
Who each product suits best
ComplyEasy is a better fit if you are
- A solo founder or a team under roughly 20 people.
- Pre-Series A, or otherwise unable to commit five figures a year to compliance tooling.
- Trying to find out where you stand before committing budget at all.
- Happy to gather some evidence manually in exchange for a much lower price and no sales cycle.
Vanta is a better fit if you are
- Mid-market or enterprise, with a security or GRC owner on staff.
- Managing several frameworks at once across a larger cloud estate.
- Reliant on continuous automated monitoring across many SaaS and cloud systems.
- Buying with procurement and expecting a mature vendor with a large partner network.
Where Vanta is currently ahead
- Native integrations. Vanta connects to a far broader set of cloud, HR and SaaS systems for automated evidence collection. Ours are coming, not shipped.
- Continuous monitoring depth. More automated control checks running on an ongoing basis.
- Framework breadth and maturity. A longer list of supported frameworks with more years of production use behind them.
- Ecosystem. Larger auditor, partner and services network, plus enterprise features such as advanced access controls.
Where ComplyEasy is ahead
- Cost. Published pricing that starts free and stays in the hundreds of dollars a year, not the thousands.
- Self-serve. No demo, no procurement, no annual commitment to get started.
- Speed to a first answer. A scored gap report in minutes from documents you already have.
- Designed for small teams. Plain-English findings and tasks aimed at a founder, not a GRC department.

How we verified this: Vanta details were compiled in August 2026 from Vanta’s own public pricing, product and documentation pages. Vanta does not publish standard list prices, so cost figures are approximate ranges reported publicly by customers and analysts and will vary by company size, frameworks and contract terms. We don’t claim to match Vanta everywhere — deep evidence-collection integrations are on our roadmap, not shipped. Spot something out of date? Tell us and we’ll correct it.
